ITINERARY

Day 1 Victoria Falls

After arriving at the Victoria Falls Airport, you will be greeted and
transferred to your hotel. This is a rest day; so you can enjoy the day at
leisure or indulge yourself in various activities around the Victoria Falls.

Day 2 – 4 Victoria Falls – Hwange National Park

Activities:

• This morning we departed Victoria Falls and made our way to our lodge in a private
  concession near Hwange National Park.
• The next days are spent exploring this wildlife rich area.
• In the afternoon you can go for a game drive (optional)
• Over the following two days we will explore this vast wilderness on game drives. Hwange
  National Park is one of Africa’s best sanctuaries for wildlife. The place is also home to
  elephants, buffalo, zebras and giraffes. Here, you can find many predators and endangered
  bird species
• Explore the Painted Dog Conservation Centre to observe the work that has been initiated to
  preserve these endangered species.

Day 5 Hwange National Park – Lodge, Botswana

Activities:

• Today will be our longest game drive safari; so get up in the early morning. .
• Drive through the Matetsi safari area en-route to Botswana. The drive is beautifully scenic,
  with the chance of spotting game along the way.
• Arrive at Lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 6 Nata Bird Sanctuary and Khwai River

Activities:

• After finishing the breakfast, our first destination will be at Nata Bird Sanctuary. It is the place
  where you can enjoy the astounding view of the Sowa pan, a part of the Greater
  Makgadikgadi Pans.
• We will go back to our camp, located in a private portion of the Khwai River area.

Day 7 Khwai River

Activities:

• You can go for game drives to enjoy your day. In our open 4×4 vehicle we will explore the
  Khwai River region on morning and afternoon game drives, hopefully spotting a variety of
  games that frequent this region.
• After dinner you will be taken on a night drive, and you will hopefully be able to spot some
  rare nocturnal animals.

Day 8 Moremi Game Reserve

Activities:

• Today, we will plan to visit the popular Moremi Game Reserve. Being one of the most
  enchanting reserves in Africa, the place is blessed with an unparalleled concentration of
  wildlife.
• You can spend the day exploring the unexplored areas of the Moremi Game Reserve.

Day 9-10 Okavango Delta

Activities:

• An early departure for Etsha 13, on the western border of the Okavango Delta in Botswana.
  The place is unique, as it flows into the Kalahari Desert without crossing the coast, like other
  deltas.
• You will spend the next day exploring the mazes of water pathways through dense vegetation
  in mokoros (traditional dugout canoes). You may spot various birds and wildlife species.
• We have the opportunity to stop at a secluded island to take a 1 1⁄2 hour guided walk hoping
  to spot elephants, water bucks or other animals living in this water filled paradise.

Day 11 Mahangu

Activities:

● Today, we will visit Namibia. You can go for a game drive in the Greater Bwabwata National
Park in the afternoon. The area continues from the Kavango River in the west to the Kwando
River in the east. It also includes the Mahangu Game Reserve. Elephants, roan, kudu and
buffalo are some of the animals along with birds that you can spot here.

Day 12-13 Mahangu National Park -Chobe National Park

Activities:

• Today, we will start our journey with the Caprivi Strip, and then return to Botswana to reach
  our destination, Kasane. Kasane is an entry point for the Chobe National Park.
• Start the next day with a hopefully spectacular game drive in Chobe National Park. You will
  come back to the hotel for a late breakfast and relaxation and prepare yourself for an amazing
  boat cruise on the Chobe River. You will encounter elephants, hippos, crocodiles and several
  birds. Don’t forget to click pictures to make your trip memorable.

Day 14 Victoria Falls

Activities:

• Today we will depart from Botswana and return to the Victoria Falls (from where we started
  our adventure)
• Hire a guide and explore Victoria Falls. After that, you can enjoy the day at leisure.

Departure: Our safari ends after breakfast. We will drop you to the Victoria
Falls Airport for your home flight. – (B)
